Image and Video Asset Specifications
Image files (includes camera photos, stock images, logos, graphics):
Image files in the following formats are accepted; .jpg, .png, .psd, .eps, .pdf, .tiff.
Image file size in pixels should be a minimum of 720(width) x 480(height) at 72dpi (dots per inch) for standard definition (SD) projects and a minimum of 1440(width) x 1080(height) pixels at 72dpi for high definition (HD) projects.
Larger dimension files are encouraged whenever possible. 2 times the above dimensions for DV and HDV projects in 72dpi is optimal.
Video operates within 72dpi at all times but you may submit larger size images such as 150dpi-300dpi and we will down-convert these files for video production.
Please do not upload individual image files that are larger than 30MB in size.
Video files up to 1.0GB total (high speed internet connection required):
Video files in the following formats are accepted; .mov, .avi, .dv, .mpeg2
You may upload a total of 1.0GB of video footage. One or several video files totaling 1.0GB in size may be uploaded per project (see details below for formats and length).
If you are having trouble uploading video files because of your location/internet connection, please contact us. We can assist you with alternative methods of delivery.
Standard definition (SD) video files (DV) must be no larger than 1.0GB in size. This is an estimation using various formats and settings and is approximately 4 to 5 minutes of DV content on average. Picture dimensions (in pixels) for SD video must be a minimum of 640x480 pixels.
High Definition (HD) video files (HDV) must be no larger than 1.0GB in size. This is an estimation using various formats and settings and is also approximately 4 to 5 minutes of HDV content on average. Picture dimensions (in pixels) for HD video (HDV) need to be a minimum of 1280x720. 854x720 video will be treated as SD (Director's Package).
